A to Z Teacher Stuff - This site was created by teachers for teachers. Contains over 200 lesson plans, teaching tips, and articles related to education.

Bulletin Boards for the Music Classroom - A very original, one-of-a-kind site by a music teacher. Chalked full of ideas for music classroom bulletin boards. Also includes links to music graphic and clip art websites.

Children's Music by D. F. Saphra - More children's music MIDI files. Also includes teaching ideas and activities.

Cook Music Library University of Indiana - Contains one of the largest lists of worldwide Internet music resources. Great source of information on all music-related topics.

George F. DeVine Music Library - University of Tennessee music library. Another excellent music research source.

K-12 Resources for Music Educators - Hundreds of resources for music educators and students of all areas and educational levels.

Kids Info - A homework and student, teacher/parent reference resource. Provides links to lesson plans/projects and reference resources such as online encyclopedias, dictionaries, and museums.

Lesson Plans Page - An excellent resource for lesson plans and classroom activities.

Mama Lisa's World - Children's songs and nursery rhymes from all over the globe are presented both in English and their native languages. Many include sound clips and sheet music.

Music Education at Data Dragon - Information about musical instruments, musical genres, music history, and theory. Includes links to other music education sites.

Music Staff - Enables parents, students, and musicians to find music teachers, music schools, and music lessons anywhere in the United States by zip code. The "Teachers Lounge" includes articles, teacher resources, job listings, and discussions.

teAchnology - A website for all educators Contains lesson plans, teaching tools, information on professional development and current trends in education.

 

The Texas School Music Project is a source for ideas and information concerning pedagogical practices in the music classroom or rehearsal hall.
The TSMP is a service provided to all music specialists by the faculty of the School of Music at Stephen F. Austin State University.
